1. Controller

Flair Video (flairvideo.net) is operated by Andrea Gherardi. As data controller, we are responsible for the processing of your personal data. Contact: info@flairvideo.net

2. Data we collect

When you sign in via Google or Facebook OAuth, we receive your display name and email address from the authentication provider. We do not store passwords.

When you submit a video, we store the video URL, the metadata you provide (title, bartender name, category, description), and your email address to attribute the contribution.

3. How we use your data

  • Authentication — to identify you and maintain your session
  • Contributor system — to count your approved videos and assign your badge level
  • Video archive — to attribute submitted content to its contributor
  • Service communications — to notify you about your submissions if needed

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

  • Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) — providing the authentication and contributor service you requested
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — operating and improving the platform, attributing video content

5. Third parties

  • Google LLC — OAuth authentication (Google Sign-In)
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. — OAuth authentication (Facebook Login)
  • Fly.io — application hosting (Frankfurt, EU region)
  • WordPress (self-hosted) — content management system

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Cookies

We use only session cookies necessary for authentication. No tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies are used.

7. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

8. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data
  • Restriction — request limitation of processing
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured format
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest
